The Design Vision Session
Where we begin:
I come to our first meeting as a designer, a warm ally, and a curious scientist. My senses are wide open as I listen to your wishes and challenges and as I absorb the details of your surroundings. I aim to truly understand what will serve you best and to discern the meaningful possibilities in your environment.
In this illuminating and fun session we will create a holistic vision of your functional, beautiful, feel-good space as we discuss and document specific actionable ideas to bring it there.
The Design Vision Session is productive and empowering as a stand-alone experience to guide your personal design journey, or it lays the groundwork and direction for our deeper collaboration.

Invite in a fresh perspective on your environment and explore ideas to enhance its overall harmony.
Optimize how your space serves your daily routines, supporting ease and efficiency in your life.
Reconsider the use and arrangement of existing furnishings (sometimes transforming them right away).

Identify types and qualities of new pieces to seek, so your acquisitions are thoughtful and wise.
Develop balanced and cohesive color schemes (for paint, as well as furnishings and finishes).

Bring clarity and direction to your do-it-yourself projects and solve your design dilemmas.
Incorporate the wisdom of nature to enhance the energy flow and feel of your surroundings.

Fees:
Initial Two-hour Design Session + Follow-up Report - $500
West Seattle (and SW vicinity) locals’ rate - $450Ongoing Design Services - $180/hour or by Project

After we’ve established a vision for your environment, I’ll work with you to bring this to life.
I offer multiple project paths to best fit your needs, priorities, and budget — whether acting as a collaborative partner alongside your efforts, or leading us on a full-scope design process through the development of interior concepts and layouts, the selection and procurement of furnishings and finishes, and the fine-tuning of the ambience in your atmosphere.

Virtual Design
We don’t even have to meet in person.
Wherever you are, let’s dream together about just how wonderful your space could be.
Working from your photos and measurements and consulting with you via email and video, I will provide inspired ideas and specific recommendations on layout and furnishings, lighting and color palettes, decor and details to optimize your surroundings.

I request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations.
If you’re outside of Seattle but still within the greater Puget Sound area, I’d love to work with you in your home though a small travel fee may apply. If you’re further away we can still work together via my virtual design services or in-person by special arrangement.
